Dr. Basso, MD, is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician with a dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality care to her patients.
Dr. Basso relocated to Alabama to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Southeast Health, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. During her residency, she earned recognition for her exceptional patient care, leadership, and commitment to the field of internal medicine. She was particularly noted for fostering a sense of pride and loyalty among her peers, and for her willingness to support fellow residents. Following her residency, Dr. Basso moved to Orlando, where she founded Hamlin Clinical Center. There, she continues to provide personalized, high-quality care to her patients, consistently prioritizing their well-being and maintaining the highest standards of medical practice.
With a special interest in obesity medicine, Dr. Basso is committed to helping patients achieve optimal health through evidence-based practices and a holistic approach. Dr. Basso is an active member of the American College of Physicians, staying at the forefront of medical advancements to best serve her patients. She is fluent in Portuguese, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of individuals in the community. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Basso enjoys spending time with her family and engaging in physical activities, staying active both mentally and physically.
